Are you looking for volunteer opportunities, or does your organisation need volunteers?
The Expo, Volunteer Register and Organisation Web Directory is a grassroots community-led initiative led by a collective of Dubbo based organisations.
Spring into Volunteering Expo Event
When: Tuesday September 3, 3pm-7pm
Where: DRTCC, 155 Darling st. Dubbo
Time: Doors open from 3pm, drop in any time
This Expo is for people who are interested in volunteering or wanting to find out about the different groups and not-for-profit groups in the community. It’s also an excellent opportunity to meet new people and find out what is happening.
There will be a wide variety of groups and services including emergency relief services, sporting clubs, community groups, creative organisations, and other not-for-profit services.
Attendees will get to talk to all the different groups and not-for-profits, looking for volunteers, what is required, and how to get involved.
Organisation will be able to showcase who they are, what they do, and how they support the community.
The Expo is family friendly in a relaxed atmosphere, with lots of opportunities to network and chat with all the different groups and not-for-profits.
This community-led Expo is being presented by a partnership between NFP Guide, Baptist Care Hope Street, Emmanuel Care Centre, Global Care Dubbo, Live Better Community Services, and St Vincent de Paul Dubbo.

If you’re a volunteer, register your details to receive a monthly newsletter and an invitation to our Volunteer expo. Your information is confidential and the volunteer register won’t be public. Your Not-for-Profit Guide team will be coordinating and promoting opportunities to Volunteer in Dubbo. The information on interests and skills is being used to identify suitable opportunities to promote to you.

Groups, grassroots initiatives, and community services can't make a difference without you! We need volunteers to deliver outcomes that support our community.
Volunteer in Dubbo will connect people looking to volunteer with groups and organisations seeking volunteers in the Dubbo Region.
This is not just a simple directory. We plan to support groups, services, and volunteers throughout their journey. We already have a free online volunteer induction course your volunteers can undertake.

The founding committee has a long history of serving the community, supporting volunteers, and working in the not-for-profit sector.

Volunteer in Dubbo is a pro-bono program being supported by sponsor, Your Not-for-Profit Guide who is managing this initiative on behalf of the committee.
