Connect, Learn, and Grow with Local Not-for-Profits

About the NFP Network

The NFP Network is an opportunity for anyone working, volunteering or wanting to volunteer with not-for-profits and charities in the Dubbo Region to connect.

The NFP Network is about:

  • Strengthening local connections
  • Creating a peer support network for committees, boards, staff, and volunteers
  • Sharing resources and knowledge
  • Creating a sense of community
About our events

Our quarterly events are a pro bono initiative of the NFP Guide, the team that managed the 2024 Volunteer Expo. These events are designed from feedback received from attendees for more regular opportunities to connect.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network and chat with fellow attendees and panelists to create new connections.  For those wanting to volunteer, this will give you a great opportunity to connect with people informally and explore volunteer opportunities.

Attendees are encouraged to bring flyers or information about their organisation.

If you’d like to be involved or share your experience at our next event get in touch with
Kellie Jennar on 0478 076 329.

Upcoming Events

At our first quarterly event on 25th September, attendees will hear from members of diverse community organisations including creative and cultural groups, multicultural groups, and event organisers. You will hear about:

  • What it takes to transition from a program to an organisation
  • How to recruit and support volunteers
  • Lessons learnt from a not-for-profit merger
  • Partnering with other organisations to leverage benefits and reach.
  • Applying for grants

This event is supported by the Unboxed Creative Sessions, Studio 138, and the Western Plains Cultural Centre.
